I don't know whether "Road Station" is a proper translation or not. There are many parking lots across Japan that we call "Michino-eki". Every Michino-eki has some restaurants, vending machines and washrooms. We can get information about routes and local news and events. It's very convenient. We are in Michino-eki Yokohama town now.

でしたが、こんな施設のことをアメリカやカナダでは Lay-by と呼ぶのだそうです。カナダ人から教えてもらいました。すぐにタイトルを書き換えました。(^o^)
