The watch I use daily operates by solar power and provides the accurate time and date through radio waves. Two words, "Eco-Drive" and "Radio Controlled," are inscribed on the dial plate. http://kumo.typepad.jp/weblog
I took the Tag Heuer out of the drawer today. As I expected, all the hands had already stopped because I've not used it for two years, so it is natural. I had its battery replaced and it started moving. Just after I took this picture, I set the watch back 17 hours to Pacific Time.
When I bought this watch about ten years ago, it was accurate and expensive and moreover looked fancy. However to my regret, as technology has developed, its worth has seemed to decrease.
