I imagine the air is quite clean in Germany. Isn't there beautiful scenery everywhere, with big meadows, trees, and lots of other greens? That's my image of Germany.

I like your rule about eating local food. I think it's one of the best ways to explore a country!

By the way, I did a google search the other day about Thanksgiving in Japan or something (for my work, we are trying to figure out a way to celebrate 'thanks' with our young students), and anyway, your blog came up on the second page of listings for my search. I thought it was ironic that I came upon your blog in a random search on the internet. (sarah)
