I'm writing this entry on the night of Mar. 6th. in my office. It's raining outside. I hear the sound of raindrops. Some people don't like rainy days, but I like them. The sound of raindrops, if it's mild, has an effect of soothing my mind. A cup of coffee, a few pieces of chocolate and good books make me happy and nourish my way of thinking. The weather forecast apologeticically says, "Tomorrow will be rainy, though it's Sunday," but it's ok for me. I'll enjoy reading books all day here.
(Vocabulary)
nourish
(人・動植物)に栄養を与える
(文) (感情・考え・信念など)をはぐくむ, 強固にする
apologetically すまなそうに, 言い訳めいて
Sorry to be late. My work has been really hectic these days. Thank you for your comment.

It's pretty cold over here in the Pacific Northwest of America.
We recently had a sudden change in weather, we went from sunny and mildly cold, to freezing and snowing in one day!
