I joined the Japan Rally Championship as a staff member although I wanted to see the hurtling rally cars in special stages as a stand guide. This year, the Japanese top driver, Mr Arai, who drives for SUBARU and will take part in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, was to come and drive his car. I wanted to see his driving, but was placed at the starting point of one of the special stages which was considered to be the riskiest. The picture was shot from behind his car during the wait for the starting signal. I wish I could be a stand guide next time.
(Vocabulary)
hurtle 〈車などが〉 猛烈な速さで進む
Great! Cars are anywhere, just keep on posting. Thanks!
