We moved from Duomo to Piazza della Signoria on foot through narrow streets following the Japanese guide who had lived in Florence for more than 20 years. The route was so complex and we would lose our way without her. After taking a look at the open space called Signoria, we walked to the riverside of the Arno River. I viewed the old and noted bridge of Ponte Vecchio in the distance. To tell the truth, I wanted to walk on the bridge, but the guide told me that we didn't have enough time to do so. The museum that we visited next, called Galleria degli Uffizi in Italian, was heavily crowded and strictly guarded. We had to undergo the same inspection as we were required when boarding on the plane. I had to take my jacket off and deposit my daypack at the security section. The use of a camera was prohibited inside, but I wanted to take something in the picture and shot a scene of a men's washroom.(hahaha) I didn't notice that it was the urinal. It seemed a simple wall to me at the first look. Was it the usual style of Italy?
By the way, the exhibitions were wonderful. I don't know words for them. I had seen some of them in my textbook long ago. I sighed deeply recounting that original ones were here. The tonight's hotel was Nilhotel in the last picture.
