The destination of April 11th was Pearl Harbor. My wife would rather take a walk around Waikiki and I went out alone. I already understood how to use the fixed route buses. When I got to the nearest bus stop, a just-arrived bus extended the ramp for wheelchair users. This town might be physically challenged-friendly.
I arrived at the Pearl Harbor Historic Site by the number 42 bus directly without an exchange of buses. I heard other passengers chatting in the bus; one of them was happy to turn 65 soon, because he will get the yearly discount bus ticket for seniors. I wanted to know its price, but I'm not good at talking, so I didn't. I'll check it later.
The quantity of today's blog entries would be more than 20. Most of them will be sad stories for U.S. citizens, but I mean no offense to U.S. citizens who live now. I don't want to force them to apologize, but I want them to know the historical facts without embellishment nor exaggeration. The good facts are all right to be repeated in our history, but we must know the facts in order to avoid repeating the bad happenings. I'll start writing about what I felt in the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites.
(Vocabulary)
mean no offense (to somebody) (<人>に対して)悪気はない
Thank you for your comment. Long time no see you. I had a trip to Hawaii from Apr. 6th to 13th in 2018. Enjoy my trip memos, which I'm writing now.

Ah...Oahu, Hawaii. I lived there for four years from 1977 - 1981. I also went to Pearl Harbor. My favorite place to go was to Waiamea Bay during the winter swells to body surf. I liked to dive at Hanauma Bay to see the multi colored fish. I also loved Waikiki to walk around and get things to eat. Of course, back then, it wasn't nearly so crowded on the island. I also had swum in the pool of Sacred Falls. This article brings back many fond memories. Be sure to go to Mt. Tantalus Look Out for a panoramic view of Honolulu and Pearl City, especially at sunset. I am sure you are enjoying yourself immensely.
