I was to leave Matsuyama for Kagoshima on the evening direct flight on July 21st, but my flight was cancelled. JAL didn't announce the reason, but I thought it might be due to the small number of passengers. Finally I moved to Fukuoka, then headed for Kagoshima. It would be one of the influences of the Chinese origin virus. It was before the pandemic when I booked the flight. However, I was able to enjoy two flights without any additional fee. I was happy, as I like flights.
The plane which I got on at Fukuoka airport was new to me. Its door was set in the rear and it was curious for me just due to my lack of experience, but as far as the plane is secure, it's no problem. One thing, my seat was next to its propeller. It was a nuisance and uneasy to me that such awfully rapidly rotating equipment was beside me. On-flight service was so-so. Only a wet towel and a small bottle of tea were delivered. CAs were mostly seated to avoid the closeness to passengers.
