We took a short break at In'nai town on the way to Usa City. The first picture shows the information center along the road. The Kanji character says "Stone Bridge Town of In'nai". The signboard in the next picture attracted me. That read that there were nearly 100 stone bridges functional in the town. The most popular one was located just at the roadside we were traveling on, and we visited the bridge called Torii-bashi bridge. I'll show you pictures below. This bridge is just 100 years old this year and is used even now. Kyushu has been hit by huge typhoons lots of times during these 100 years almost every year. However, this bridge survived. I was amazed at its elaborate design and the stone-piling technology.
