We arrived at Chipping Campden. The travel guidebook said that there were several spots for visitors, but I just drove in the town to save time. Lots of elegant buildings which had been built from 14th to 17th century were still alive in a district called High Street and I really wanted to enter one of them, but we thought that it would take time to find a parking space and gave up seeing inside of the buildings. I didn't even take pictures, but we were lucky to see those honey-colored traditional buildings. The color would be due to the locally produced limestone.
I found very unique appearances of the houses on the outskirts. I pulled over to take a short walk. The Audi in the first picture is our car. I wondered how much labor would be required to keep those gardens and roofs in that way. I understand that the British are fond of gardening, but these gardens were great!
