The Secret Garden:
I've known only the title of this story before now. This story was interesting, and I could read it at ease. I didn't know 1 word and some phrases in the whole story, but I could easily infer the meaning. I think I can graduate from Penguin Readers Level 2 but I'm going to read some more books at this level because I can enjoy reading books at this level. After that, I'll go up to the next level.

Little Women:
This was less enjoyable. The story was sort of jumpy.

Thank you for your comment, Lottie!
It's just a milestone for keeping the motivation to read books in English. English is difficult for ordinary Japanese, because most Japanese don't need English in day-to-day life.
Are you originally from the U.S.? or other English speaking countries? My blog shows that you are from Fukuoka now.
Anyway, thanks again for reading my entries.

Why do you note the word count of the books that you read?
