It's the anthology of O. Henry's short stories. Each story had an unpredictable ending and I was surprised at each ending. I knew only the name of O.Henry before and read some of his stories. In the opening of this book there was his autobiography. It was completely different from what I expected from the style of his writings.
He committed a crime, flew the country, came back to the US and was arrested and taken into custody. Did he thrive on such experiences of adversity?
