We called in at a famous gift shop, the OK Shop. I wrote it is famous, but it might be so only among Japanese, for the owner is Japanese and an entertainment personality. His name is Ohashi Kyosen. OK stands for his name.
Every time I visited Vancouver, I had always dropped in at a souvenir shop, the "New Tokyo Gift," the owner of which was Mr Saburo Iura. I introduced him in this blog: http://kumo.typepad.jp/weblog/2008/03/brockton-point.html
He was a rival of Mr. Ohashi.
