We had some choices after the aquarium to go straight back downtown by taxi, or walk around in Stanley Park. The children selected the second choice and we took a walk along Burrard Inlet. A seemed to be surprised to see the closeness between the city and nature.
We came across a police car with nobody inside. It looked nice, like a rally car. Japanese police cars are colored white and black. The canadian one is brighter than that. Anyway where was the police officer? We looked around for him.
The police officer who I thought was the crew of this police car that we found was riding a horse. I was not sure, but he might come here after lunch to enjoy riding. This is within 10 minutes' drive from the police station. If I was a police officer, I would have felt envious of him.
There is more to it. I heard from my teacher that the mounted police officer was on patrol in Stanley Park. I'm sorry, he was not enjoying riding but doing his duty.
