I was outfitted with a parka, a heavy cotton shirt, a cap and my official credentials at the Rally HQ. After looking around the service park and some booths, we headed for our hotel. This hotel was also offered by the HQ of Rally Japan. A brother of one of us, who is running a pastry shop in Sapporo City, drove us to the hotel. I will write about him and his shop later.
The pictures show our hotel and my room. My room was originally designed as a twin room and they added another bed, I supposed. My room was so tight, but the public bath of this hotel used hot spring water and was gorgeous.
