My old friend, five years younger than me, sent me an e-mail with a picture that I will show you at the end of this entry. He seemed to have bought this motorcycle and enjoys riding every weekend around Mt. Fuji, which is the highest mountain in Japan.
We had been working at the same hospital in Osaka twenty some years ago. It is him who has a camera in this picture: http://canada1995.web.fc2.com/tateyama/87tateyama-1/original/File0002.jpg He and I were both single and free to go everywhere we wanted. Tons of scenes of my younger days were coming up in my mind. He has two kids now and I have three. I wish we could see each other with our whole families.
