I took many pictures on the way to Panmunjom through the window. I'll show you some of them with the location where each picture was taken from now on. Each picture will also be attached on Google Earth later.
Both pictures were taken at the location of 37°44'8.23"N and 126°41'19.00"E. The road was wide with four lanes each way. Besides, there was free space between both directions. It looked to be just waiting for groundbreaking. When I asked about it, our guide told us that ex-president Kim Dae-jung wanted free traffic between both Koreas and prepared this space for increasing traffic in the future. However, no one knows when the day will come.
The sign in the second picture says, "Last 24 kilometers to Imjingak." I'm going to explain about Imjingak later.
