"Pearl of Alsace" is another name for Riquewihr. This village was so beautiful that it had been given this name. We used the sightseeing train-like vehicle to climb up the hill looking down on the village. I'll show you the pictures of the bus and the scenery from the hill. Riquewihr looked like it was embedded in the vineyards of Alsace when I saw it from the slope of the hill. You can also see snow on the top of the mountain in the distance in the picture. It is Schauinsland, where we had been the previous day. You know, we could see the Black Forest across the Rhine river.
