Did you find the gutter-like structure on the stone table in the first picture of the last entry? This gutter is the method for serving someone. A small bunch of somen flew out into the gutter and people skimmed it from the flow. I don't know who figured out this way of eating somen, but it was a nice breakfast in the natural cool breeze.
After breakfast, we went up the valley, of course by car. The picture shows the highest point of the road, Gozega Pass, from which we could see both the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
