My house turned 10 years. I don't notice anything unfavorable with respect to my house, but my housing company, Sekisui House, Ltd. came to my house to inspect my house for fundamental building frames, such as external walls, the sealing status of the roof and the balcony and the distortion of the house itself. They are absolutely confident about their work, but they wanted to make assurance surer. The pictures show the inspection of the roof. One of the inspectors was taking movies from every aspect of the roof. He and his staff members will check every single tile later, so I've not received the formal result yet, but the inspectors told me roughly that there was no major problem. Japan is regarded as an earthquake country as all of you know. My house was built with the most up-to-date anti-quake techniques, but the effect of termite control, which was performed ten years ago, will disappear soon and the insurance for termite damage will expire in a few months. I was advised to do prevention from termites and redo the insurance. Such unexpected expense is really painful, but inevitable.
Next, they started opening the manhole covers one after another. I didn't know exactly which was which. This one, sewage, and this one is drainage,,, I wondered how refined they were and realized my everyday life is based on the effort of lots of people.

Hi, Shiroi_Tora
Long time no see. I'm writing about my trip of this summer even now. And thank you for heartwarming comment.
By the way, does your son, Alex, like playing a flute? I'm a shakuhachi bamboo flute (Japan's traditional flute) player and I'm going to write about it soon. I'm planning to hold a small shakuhachi recital in coming January.

I have always loved the way the Japanese businesses conduct business. I had many great experiences in Japan when I had purchased items. Everything from customer service, product quality, and customer follow up made my purchases very satisfying.
It sounds as if the company from which you had purchased your house has great customer follow up. Were it me, I would be reassured that the company has confidence in its quality and in how it places its commitment to its customers in high regard. I am sure this makes you feel very good.
