Surugawan Ferry

　　I got up earlier than usual, and bathed for a short time. The hot water was slimy, though I don't know if "slimy" is used to express the texture of water. Anyway, I was going to get on a ferry connecting Toi port and Shimizu port in the same Shizuoka prefecture. If you are interested in its route, see a map around you. It's easy to find both ports. I was supposed to view Mt. Fuji on the way,,, if the weather was clear. However, the sky was cloudy. A variety of seafood was roasted on the deck, but I wasn't allowed to drink any beer. I had to drive just after the landing. Nothing was fun on the ocean. The picture shows Shimizu port shortly before arrival. Actually, the weather became nice after I got off. If I had chosen a service in the afternoon, I might have seen Mt. Fuji. The weather change for the better made me sadder.

駿河湾フェリー

少し早起きをして温泉を楽しみ出発。フェリーは駿河湾を東から西へ横断し清水港へ入る。そのコースは地図を見れば一目瞭然、美しい富士の姿を眺めることができる、、、晴れていれば。で、天気は曇り。全く見えなかった。船内にはイカなどのバーベキューがあったが車に乗るためビールは飲めない。飲まず食わずでほとんど何も見えない航海となり、写真は到着前の清水港。実に残念。実は降りたら晴れてきたので午後の便だったら良い写真が撮れたかも知れない。残念度が倍増した。
