We left Shimonoseki City and stopped by Yamaguchi City on the way to our hometown and I happened to find the Nakahara Chuya Museum there. Nakahara Chuya is one of my favorite poets and I often read his works in my teenager days. I wanted to see things related to him in the museum, but I didn't have enough time. I just got a Japanese sake bearing his name for my later pleasure. I thought I'd take his books out of my stacks tonight.
Then, we dropped in at Rurikouji Temple, which I actually viewed for the first time. It was built 570 years ago and was glorious. I recalled the scene of its construction by a spate of artisans. The cultural estate with a long history is wonderful for the fact that it has been preserved for generations.
