Reunion

　　I wrote about my old friend living on this island in the previous entry. We visited a ramen restaurant run by his brother. When we met in the hospital after a 30 years' interval, he and I were on duty, so we made a promise to meet somewhere out of the hospital. He, his wife, my wife and I had a very happy time over his brother's local cuisine. If he hadn't been on the island, I'd not have visited the island. We parted after another promise to see each other again.

旧友と約束をしていたため指定の場所へ移動。実兄が経営するラーメン屋でランチ。懐かしい話に花が咲いた。約30年ぶりの再会である。彼がいなかったら種子島へは来ていなかったと思う。食後、再会を期して別れた。
