Going up north along the west coast, I headed for the northernmost point of the island. I stopped by a beautiful beach called Urata Beach. Very fine white sand, calm waves in the cove, surrounded by the forest, but there were few people. Stalls were closed. It might be due to the Wuhan virus crisis.
島の西海岸を北上して最北端に向かった。途中立ち寄ったビーチは浦田海水浴場。細かい白い砂、穏やかな波、周りを森林に囲まれた入江となっていて、きれいなビーチだったが、人はほとんどいない。海の店は閉店。これも武漢ウイルスのためなのだろう。
