I got an email from ANA to ask the passengers to reduce their carry-on baggage and check as much luggage as possible, because the plane was small and the flight was fully booked. The check-in counter might be crowded and we started with an hour to spare. We left our house about 8 o'clock. There's no custom of tipping in Japan, but we gave a tip to the taxi driver for four suitcases, and it might be from an elated mood. My wife was squeezing one after the other into her suitcase even at the souvenir shops in the airport. The mother-daughter relationship would be true worldwide, though it's me who has to drag her heavy suitcase.
(Vocabulary)
