We got to Sapporo City at 8:30 and had breakfast again. The weather was cloudy and the walkway was wet due to the last night's rain. Sapporo City is known as the first city where the Winter Olympic Games were held in Japan.
I've visited Hokkaido a few times. Every time I go there, I take my motorcycle, using airplanes, trucks or ferries and I enjoyed riding my motorcycle across Hokkaido. Hokkaido has vast areas of nature and my motorcycle is an off-road type. I have ridden my motorcycle mainly out of cities, in forests, along rivers and around lakes, so it's the first time I have seen Sapporo City and Hokkaido University.
As soon as I went through the entrance, I was moved to see how beautiful the university was. The first picture is the scene that I saw first. It's just like a park. I felt not that people built some buildings of various departments and after that planted many trees and grasses around the buildings, but that there was a wood and people built the university there.
The second picture is a building that was built in the Meiji Era. This is a historical heritage building and is still in use now.
The next picture is taken at the side of Ono Pond. You can see what it is like in the next picture if you magnify the picture.
My daughter seems to be eager to enter this university. She will be an eager beaver.
