We got to an old building that is shown below. It was the ruin of a hospital and looked like it had been built 50, 60, or more years ago. It had an atmosphere of a historic heritage site. I've seen such buildings and posted some pictures before.
To tell the truth, I know a story about this ruin. The physician who built this hospital was a friend of my grandfather, who passed away at the age of 97 in 1990. The physician apparently seemed to want someone to inherit his hospital, but he couldn't find a person who would take over his hospital. This former hospital would be the property of his relatives now. My mother told me that if I became a doctor 20 years earlier, he would offer it to me. I imagined the scene and felt funny at my grandfather and his friend playing go (a kind of mental sport) over the topic of me. My grandfather seemed to recommend at most a ten year-old me as his successor.
