The craftsman's name, which I picked up in the previous entry, is Mr. Masahisa Tsujitani. I'll continue the story about him in this entry.
To tell the truth, he was invited from a foreign manufacturer of the shots, offering 20,000 dollars per week under the condition of passing the technical license of making shots.
"I rejected it. My shots wouldn't be crafted without the cooperation of casting professionals and the techniques of Japan-original must be protected", he said. It's a strong will that pursues a goal, never gives up and overcomes difficulties with originality and ingenuity. Great!
A profound sense of humility to state that his achievement is not accomplished by himself even in front of big temptations. Japanese people will regard his way of thinking as beautiful. On the foundation day of Japan, I hope that such a way of thinking will survive forever.
