We had the reservation of the transport service from Toronto International Airport to Niagara Falls in advance and could easily find the company at the entrance of the airport. All passengers seemed to have already reserved their seats and the bus stopped at several places even away from the highway on the way to Niagara Falls. I was viewing from the right side of the bus all the way as if I didn't want to blink for fear of missing something. A little before our arrival in Niagara Falls, I was surprised to find a cargo ship afloat on the river. I knew immediately that it was the canal connecting Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. The existence of the canal between the Atlantic Ocean and the Great Lakes was natural, I noticed. It was the Welland Canal's Centre Lock 3. I thought to take snaps on the return ride.
The bus stopped just in front of our hotel, the Sheraton Niagara Falls. As soon as we checked in the hotel, we went out for a walk. My daughter wanted to walk alone- she maybe wanted to try speaking in English- and we parted.
I stood alone before the falls and remembered the time when I visited last time. It was with my colleagues 15 years ago and at that time I decided to come again with my family. It was wonderful that my resolution had come true.
