Rio and Mocha are the names of my dogs, and both have already passed away several years ago. They were Dalmatians and came to my house at the age of three months. I loved them and wrote entries many times about them. Three years have passed after the death of Mocha and I visited their graveyard today.
They were really obedient to me, but not to my wife, in spite of my wife cleaning their doghouse frequently. So, my wife was always complaining about them; it takes time and labor for cleaning their house, walking them, feeding them, , , .
Now, on the contrary, she says, "I wish they were alive!" Do you know why? Unconfined cats often leave their excrement in my house and while my dogs were alive, such cats never entered my house. It indicates that Rio and Mocha were undertaking their roles as one of my family. They were also good friends of my daughters.
I'd like to keep a dog as a pet again, but no one stays in my house in the daytime now. The dogs would feel lonely. My parents got older and can no longer walk a dog. My daughters moved out and live apart.
Today's refreshing breeze of spring reminded me of the day when they died. So I visited their charnel. I took pictures of the condition of the charnel and their cinerary urns.
