Do you know the service life of a helmet? The answer is only three years. Of course I knew, but the age of my helmet was 7! It far exceeded the durable years. After coming back from Hokkaido, I replaced it with the same model. The size of my head is bigger than average and it's not easy to find one to fit my head. Thus I chose one of the same size, and the same model of the same company. Less enjoyable, so I changed its color from white to wine-red.
Having a quick look at it, you wouldn't find any difference between the new and old one, but there was surely 7 years' struggle of technologists: the decrease of wind noise, the circulation of the air, the defogging system, the adequate spaces for the plate speakers, and so on. I really like it.
