Maruseppu 丸瀬布

　　After riding for some time through the forest, I arrived at the small town of Maruseppu. I took a short rest there and headed for Souunkyo Hot Spa, which was the destination of the day. I wore my rain jacket all day, but it didn't rain. After the usual drinking, I went to bed, praying for the next day's good weather.

森の中をしばらく走り丸瀬布道の駅に出た。少し休憩して今日の投宿場所の層雲峡温泉に向かう。丸瀬布からは高速道路のような道で快適。合羽を着て行動したが、この日だけは雨が降らなかった。翌日も晴れることを祈った。
