Four of the castle ruins in Okinawa were placed on the list of World Heritage Sites in 2000. I was going to visit all of them on the trip and the second and the third ruins are Nakagusuku Castle Ruin and Katsuren Castle Ruin. As I wrote in the entry about Zakimi Castle, the detail about these castles had been lost to history. No documented records! It's utterly regrettable.
