I made a beeline for a swimming pool after coming back to the ship. Although it was adequately air-conditioned in the cabin, I wanted to jump into the water under the tropical sunshine. Lying on a beach chair by the pool with a beer from the poolside bar, I took a short nap unconsciously, blown by the comfortable breeze flowing on the Strait of Malacca.
I happened to find the German cruise ship of Mein Schiff in the distance, which was surely moored at the same pier as the Diamond Princess this morning. Then, I wondered what the ship was in front of our ship's bow. I walked to the bow and found it out. The cruise ship in front of the Diamond Princess was the Malaysian cruise ship of Gemini. Was Penang island its destination or its starting port? I didn't know that.
