When our train arrived at Paddington Station, my daughter wondered where "that" famous bear's statue was. "That"? "Is there such a well-known statue in the station?" I wasn't interested in such a statue, but she insisted on finding it. Two policemen happened to pass by at that time and I asked one of them about the statue. He answered in a flash, which, I thought, meant the popularity of the statue. While taking pictures, other tourists were gathering around the statue. The suitcase which the bear had was the same one as mine, the Globe Trotter.
Then we headed for the Conrad London St. James by taxi as we carried as many as four suitcases. In addition, I had wanted to get on a traditional taxi in London. The cabin was wide enough and comfortable. The Conrad was really gorgeous. I had enough customers' points from Hilton Hotels to stay at this hotel, but if I had to pay some money, I wouldn't have chosen that hotel. The price was considerably high. This stay was their free offering.
