Traffic Accident? Riot?

　　After returning the car, we took a walk to Oxford Station. A bus stop was destroyed on the way. A traffic accident had happened the previous night, or some riot? We didn't find any parts of the car or tire marks and so someone might have destroyed it. I didn't want to see such a violent incident in the peaceful and academic city of Oxford, but the next scene we met was really nice.
　　Then we passed over a bridge and the river below was the Thames. Two kayaks were moving down in the direction of London. I became eager to canoe down to London. This peaceful sight made us happy. The boat house moored at the shore also attracted me.

レンタカーを返した後、オックスフォード駅まで徒歩。途中にあったバス停が破壊されていた。昨日は無かったと思うので夜中に事故があったかな？車の破片もタイヤ痕もないので事故ではないのかも？嫌なものを見たなと思いながら歩いていると、橋にさしかかった。地図を確認すると下の川はテムズ川。ここまで来るとかなり狭くなっている。２艘のカヌーが通り過ぎていった。のどかな風景に気が和んだ。停泊している住居兼ボートにも興味あり。
