I went out for a walk. So many people waiting for the fireworks on the beach, I wanted to put myself in the lively space. A hula dancing show was being held over the live music at the poolside on the way. I expected a heavy crush and didn't bring my tripod, so all the shooting was done hand-held. The pictures were not so bad for hand-held shooting in the dark circumstances. I swam for ten minutes or so on the way home to cool myself. The last two pictures were shot from my condo. The beer time viewing this scenery was the ultimate happiness.
Thank you for your comment. I viewed the scenery from the lookout of Mt. Tantalus last year. It was a great view under the brilliant sky. I'm looking to visit Oahu again and maybe Molokai island next year.

I can almost feel the trade winds blowing now. I lived on Oahu for 4 years (1977 - 1981). I know the population has grown tremendously since then. The lookout area of Mt. Tantalus allows a panoramic view from Diamond Head to Pearl Harbor.
Anyway, you have some beautiful photos. The colors, especially the blues, were saturated nicely, and all the colors were vivid. Very nice.
