Lunch

　　Our lunch was prepared at Naupaka Terrace Restaurant in Kauai Beach Resort. The restaurant was good, but our lunch was a kind of a box lunch and wasn't so good. After lunch I walked around the restaurant for a while and took pictures. Take a look at the following pictures. The following urls also show this facility. I believe that the scenes of the tropical island would surely fascinate you.
　　I felt that time was passing slowly. As opposed to the hotels and restaurants in Waikiki, the atmosphere around here was really serene. If you go out of the resort, you'll find nothing but nature. I found myself on the beach and was overwhelmed by the vast magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean.

豪華なリゾートホテルで弁当をいただく。ツアー客用の特別メニューだと思う。ちょっとしょぼい。レストランは閑散としていたが、プールは賑わっていた。宿泊してのんびりしている人たちだろう。時間がゆっくりと流れている。ただ、この辺りリゾートの外へ出ても何も無い。ワイキキと好対照のリゾートだが、こんなところへ滞在するのも悪くない気がした。一人歩いてほとんど誰も居ないビーチまで出て見た。広い海に圧倒された。
