While wandering in the grounds of Nanzen-ji Temple, I came across a well-remembered scene. You see the bridge-like building in the following pictures, which was a part of Biwako Sosui that I wrote about in the previous entries. This place has often been utilized in various TV dramas as murder scenes, like this situation; someone finds a body while jogging in the early morning. I uttered "Those films were taken here!" Climbing up the nearby slope, more than 100 year-old waterway worked even today. I felt that all the people concerned in this big project were great to leave a benefit to posterity. Then we entered the main building of Nanzen-ji Temple. Its national treasure-class properties and garden were really wonderful and I was thankful for the efforts of preservation by those who have gone before us.
