The road map showed us an unusual rock on the way to the southernmost point of the island. It apparently looked like the nose of a water-drinking elephant. We stopped by the beach from which we could see the rock. Look at the following pictures. The rock reminded me of Etretat cliffs, though the rock would be smaller than that of Etretat cliffs. I knew about the cliffs from a noted picture of Monet. If I can canoe through the rock when the sea is calm, it would be fun.
