Mysterious Rock Wall

　　While driving, I found a mysterious rock wall along the road. The rock looked fragile and my wife told me not to approach it, but I did toward the foot of the wall. The rock wall had some big holes inside and I felt that it showed the on-going status of forming distinctive rocks which I had seen until then at several points on the coastline of this island. This rock wall might have been located on the coast and at sea level before recorded history, and might have formed the island's coastline then, I thought.

奇岩

移動の途中で奇妙な岩、岩壁を見つけた。制止するカミさんを無視して岩の下まで行って見た。なんとも奇妙な形で、内側に空洞が出来ている。有史以前には海面近くにあって先ほど観た象の鼻のような景観を呈していたのだろうか。
