I stayed on Oahu island from Dec. 8th to 15th and I'm going to write about this trip for a couple of weeks from now. Every time I visit Hawaii, I find something new and I can't get bored of visiting Hawaii. On this trip, I revisited some places and got new impressions and visited some new places which I've long been eager to visit.
Meanwhile, I have to tell you about the catalyst for starting jogging as one of my hobbies in my 50's. I hadn't experienced any running exercises without obligatory work in my high school days. To such a middle aged man, one of my friends advised me of the marathon on my behalf. Then, I had come to enjoy several marathons as I had written in this blog many times. He sometimes told me that he would like to try to join the Honolulu Marathon at the age of 60. For Japanese people, the age of 60 is a milestone of his/her lives. This practice comes from the Oriental Zodiac. He turned 60 this year and he and some of his friends including me joined the Honolulu Marathon as one of its celebratory events.
I own a timeshare condominium in Waikiki, Honolulu. I invited them to my condominium and we stayed there for a week and enjoyed staying on Oahu island to our heart's content.
