I went to the graduation ceremony of my youngest daughter, A, today. She has attended a new school system, which was founded by the new educational law implemented in 1998. The junior and junior high school are each three year systems, but A's school is unified and is a six year system. The number of pupils is only about 80. Only 80 pupils spend the same time for six years, and they naturally got to be good friends with each other. All of her classmates will step up to the universities and become leaders of Japan in the not too distant future. She graduated with honors and the pupil whose back shot is in the picture is A. In the picture, she is expressing profound gratitude and resolution as the representative of the graduates. She is set to become a medical doctor after six years.
