I stayed at the Kansai Airport Washington Hotel last night. There was a convenience store on the 2nd floor. I went down to the store late at night to get some snacks, and found an incredible signboard there. It said in Chinese, Korean and English that you should line up at the cashier, and shouldn't open the package and shouldn't eat or drink anything there. My room was equipped with two pairs of mules with a slip of paper saying "Don't take it away!" These are natural and need not be mentioned. I'd never seen this kind of warning in other stores. It might indicate the tendency of the decline of security in Japan.
