I had a week off from Aug. 27th to Sept.2nd a couple of weeks ago. I was going to visit Freiburg with my family, including my parents, to see my second daughter, who is learning German there. However, we couldn't juggle everyone's schedule around. My wife had to work, and my other daughters had projects in their universities. I decided to use this vacation for maintenance work on my house and to spend time with my colleagues and parents. I'll be writing entries more frequently in the next few days.
