I couldn't write entries for two months because I've had busy winter days. More patients, the aged particularly, suffer more of an array of serious health problems in winter than other seasons due to pandemics of flu, norovirus and MRSA. They had run riot in Japan. When hospital personnel took care of patients, they had to change clothes and wash hands thoroughly patient by patient for the prevention of infection to other patients. The procedure was cumbersome and took extra time on the rounds. Moreover, in March, the news of the outbreak of bird flu in around Shanghai came up which is connected with my hometown of Matsuyama City by regular commercial flights. In the case of the outbreak in Japan, I had to learn how to cope with it. I had gone through such tough days, but I received a week off and enjoyed a Taiwan tour with my wife. I'm going to write about the tour for some time along with past things.
