Last summer, when my wife and I were strolling around at Narita International Airport just before departure to Malaysia, I found a booth of the Hilton Hotel Group. I had an extravagant image about this group and had found it alien to me, but dropped in just to have a look at the things in the booth. The items they were handling were a newly-built condominium in Hawaii. The right to use a room for a week per year was what they wanted to sell. I promised casually that I would take time to hear the details later and started for Malaysia.
After coming back to Japan, a salesperson of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club came all the way to my house, and we got a lesson about their sales system of the condominium. Though I have not finished paying loans on my house and my car, I bought it against my better judgement. Though we didn't actually see the condominium itself, we trusted its brand of Hilton.
Consequently, we got to visit Honolulu with one of our daughters in this consecutive holidays, which is called "Golden Week" in Japan.
